Kids Woodworking Academy (Ages 10–15)
The Kids Woodworking Academy is a hands-on learning program for children aged 10 to 15, designed to teach focus, confidence, and practical skills through woodworking.
This is not arts & crafts.
This is real making — using real tools, real timber, and real techniques in a professional workshop.
To support proper learning and safety, every student is required to use their own hand tools during the course.
Each child must purchase a starter tool set consisting of:
• 1 Hand Plane
• 1 Hand Saw
The tool set is supplied by The Makers Society and costs AED 279.
These tools belong to the student and will be used throughout the program and beyond.
Your child will learn how to measure, cut, assemble, and finish their own projects while developing patience, problem-solving, and pride in what they create.
All sessions take place every Friday at 4pm at The Makers Society in Dubai, in a safe, supervised, purpose-built woodworking studio.
