Curious about woodworking but not ready to commit to a long course?
Frame It – Woodworking Essentials for Beginners is a hands-on trial class designed as your first step into the workshop at The Makers Society.
In this guided session, you’ll be introduced to essential workshop machines and foundational joinery concepts. Under close supervision, you’ll learn how to safely operate the table saw and router table—two core tools used in furniture and project-based woodworking.
By the end of the class, you’ll complete and take home a handcrafted wooden picture frame. More than just an object, it represents your first experience working confidently with machines, materials, and precision.
No prior experience is required—just curiosity and the willingness to learn.

Policies
- All courses are non-refundable.
- One free reschedule is permitted if requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled class.
- Any additional changes, or changes requested within 24 hours of the class, are subject to a rebooking fee of AED 150.
- Missed classes or no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
- Participants must be at least 16 years of age to attend.
