Sharpening Fundamentals – Hand Tools Sharpening Workshop (3 Hours)
Sharpening is one of the most fundamental skills in woodworking—and one of the most overlooked. A sharp tool is not only more effective, but also significantly safer and more enjoyable to use. This 3-hour Sharpening Fundamentals course is designed to give you a clear, practical understanding of how to properly sharpen and maintain your woodworking hand tools.
Whether you are just starting out or already working regularly with hand tools, this course will help you build confidence in sharpening, understand edge geometry, and develop a consistent process you can repeat at home. The focus is on practical skills that directly improve the quality of your work.
Students are encouraged to bring their own tools so they can leave with tools that are properly sharpened and ready for use.
