Tondo is a modern, round-seat stool designed to push your skills beyond the basics—clean lines, elegant proportions, and joinery that’s meant to be seen.

Across two days, you’ll build a functional and stylish four-legged stool while developing confidence with precision layout, machine workflow, and joinery fit. A key focus of the build is crafting accurate half-lap joints, balancing structural strength with visual refinement.

You’ll also gain hands-on experience with nearly every major machine in our workshop—from saws to sanders—under expert supervision, learning how to work safely while improving accuracy and efficiency.

Why “Tondo”? From the Italian word for “round,” the name pays tribute to the curved seat and smooth design—simple, timeless, and made to last.

  • All courses are non-refundable.
  • One free reschedule is permitted if requested more than 24 hours before the scheduled class.
  • Any additional changes, or changes requested within 24 hours of the class, are subject to a rebooking fee of AED 150.
  • Missed classes or no-shows are not eligible for refunds or rescheduling.
  • Participants must be at least 16 years of age to attend.
